On Thursday, May 29th, at approximately 1:30 pm, an accident occurred in the Experimental Research Building of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences on Kuramoto Campus, in which a student suffered minor burns.
The incident occurred in a chemistry laboratory where students were disposing of unwanted chemicals. It appears that a hot chemical bottle exploded in the process.
We would like to offer our deepest apologies to the local community and to all other concerned parties for the concern and inconvenience caused.
